College Study Skills is the type of subject that no TESL student never expected to have to go through. Even if it seemed like this subject will never give the students any benefits at first, but as I learn more and more about it, the more I know about what this subject is trying to do.

For me, I think this subject teaches us TESL students on many things. For me this subject teaches me on how to get over my fear of talking in front of people because there a lot of assignments that causes me to get over that fear of mine. For instance, I have to record videos about the task that was given during that week.

It not only helps me get over my fear, but it also teaches me on how to basically be a lot better on how to edit videos and how to do certain things at the campus and college. Bit by bit, my fear of talking in front of people is fading away and College Study Skills may not look like an important subject, but to us students who are looking to be teachers and lecturers in the future, this subject will be a lot more useful than you think.
